  1. WARD 3 at G&DH

Ward 3 is used for patients who have had surgery requiring overnight stays or have had their initial treatment at Scunthorpe General Hospital but are not quite well enough to go home or are waiting for extra care or support in their home to be put in place so they can return home. It has

been acknowledged by the local Director of Public Health that the ward has always had palliative and frailty beds and that this role is important to the community.
